Dylan Lueth, B.S.
Biologist/Botanist
Bio:
Dylan has a Bachelors of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from the
University of Minnesota Duluth. He has been working at MNR since 2007
conducting rare plant surveys, invasive species surveys, and song bird/raptor surveys. He has worked in the Chippewa, Chequamegon, and Superior National
Forests locating rare plant populations that include Botrychium mormo, B. lanceolatum,
Carex flava, C. michauxiana, Dryopteris goldiana, Eleocharis nitida, E. quinqueflora,
Rhynchospora fusca, Sparganium glomeratum, and Taxus canadensis.
Additionally he
has experience outside of National Forests conducting rare species surveys and
wetland delineations for linear corridor projects and proposed mining activities. Dylan currently serves on the board of the Minnesota Native Plant Society
and is on the MN DNR list of approved Botrychium spp. and Endangered and
Threatened plant species surveyors.
